Does involuntary celibacy lead to rape?

Actually, in some cases it certainly can. Chronic involuntary celibacy, over many years, often leads to a lot of anger, frustration and resentment toward the opposite sex. Many people who suffer involuntary celibacy do not have sufficient social intuition to understand on their own why they are not wanted. As time goes on, most long term incels simply give up and accept the sad reality that love was never meant for them, while a small percentage of others may go off the deep end and take it by force. By "involuntary celibacy", you mean guys who just can't get a root? As opposed to, say, priests, who voluntarily choose to be celibate, but end up rapists and pedophiles anyway? Posted by: Anonymous (12 Aug 08) |
