Just like with the english, we french tend to harbour mixed feelings about the german. Although it is a bit of the nonsense to generalize from 2 or 3 cases, there is a common feature in both families we know. Definitely no sense of humour whatsoever; the priority given to money and professional career at the expense of family values that result in the depleting of the nation, a steamroller mentality with no regards to other people's feelings.
