I think Joanne showed that she was very confused about the incident and about the person who allegedly did that to her. Somewhere in all this there is a true story waiting to come out. What a shame that she treated those who tried to help her in such a bad manner. Posted by: Anonymous (2 Apr 08) |
Addendum to entry of very short time ago, if possible. Google 'Barrow Creek,Joanne Lees'. 'australia2' result. Posted by: Laurie.(Melbourne,Australia). (13 Dec 07) |
As is seen in the UK currently and previously it was, unfortunately, 'understandable' for the police to treat Joanne as a suspect. It was hard for them to know how to react. With no body as evidence it was a 'catch 22' situation for everyone. To give her 'victim support' may not have gleaned her 'truth'.(My opinion.) Richard Shears' book should be read in conjunction with Joanne's. Google 'Barrow Creek Joanne Lees' See 'australia2' result. (The media is always the hungry media.) Posted by: Laurie.(Melbourne.
